Ms. Guo specializes in domestic and overseas investment, cross-border M&A, commercial litigation and non-litigation business.

Ms. Guo is acting as legal counsel for the Management Committee of Hangzhou West Lake Scenic Area, Dothink Group, Kylin Investment, Kylin Education, Zhong Xin Electric Power, Kai Da Electric Power and other large group companies, providing long term legal services for Zhejiang Business Association of Shanxi Province, Financial Investment Committee of Women Entrepreneurs of Zhejiang Institute of International Finance, and providing long term litigation legal services to China Railway Materials Hangzhou Iron and Steel Company, Wanma Group and Transfar Group and other large group companies. 


In the field of overseas investment and cross-border M&A, she has represented a Zhejiang group company to acquire a Indonesian company ($1.83 billion) , represented Songcheng Group (a listed company) to acquire a US performance company ($240 million), represented Dothink Group to invest in many US real estate projects respectively in Wisconsin($16.36 million), New Jersey($160 million, and the case was selected to Selected International Cases by All China Lawyers Association), Memphis ($12.63million), Houston ($130 million in Mansion project and $20.15 million in Student Apartment project), represented DMG company to acquire real property in New Jersey ($24 million) , represented Zhejiang Zheda Insigma Environmental Engineering Company in Cuban Fuel Power Plant Construction Project(€80 million), issued legal opinions on overseas subsidiaries (Mexico, Vietnam) of a Shenzhen company required for it to list on the domestic stock exchange and also represented a Zhejiang technology company in a solid waste recycling plant acquisition project in the US.


Ms. Guo has provided a full range of legal services in other non-litigation legal services for foreign-related cases, such as land acquisition project, real estate development project, bio-pharmaceutical merger and acquisition project in U.S.A, equity transfer projects, debt restructuring project and confirmation of the bankruptcy creditors cases, including but not limited to representing one Zhejiang technology company against Microsoft Corporation to pay the minimum damages regarding a computer software copyright dispute which has been highly praised by client.


Regarding foreign related commercial litigation, she was engaged by Haipai to deal with the sinking incident in Phuket and has represented one Wenzhou electric company against one branch of Bank of China Limited in the trial of second instance regarding a letter of credit dispute so as to draw a satisfactory full stop for client’s economic and psychological burden caused by the eight-year long judgment of first instance against it and involvement of tax authorities in investigations. This case has been contained in the Yearbook of Higher People’s Court of Zhejiang Province (2011) and selected to the Ninth Volume of the Lawyer’s Legal Practice. She has also represented Hong Kong South China Industry to carry out legal affairs of appeal and notary review in the provincial high court (300 million yuan), represented Hunter Douglas Metals LLC against a domestic company regarding a sales contract dispute and represented a company in Jiaxing against an individual in America regarding a contract dispute.


In addition, in the field of debt restructuring and bankruptcy field, she served as the Trustee in a large-scale bankruptcy project concerning protection of the rights and interests of the elderly (nearly 800 creditors with over 3.3 billion debts) and represented a Shenzhen industrial company to report the claims (190 billion) .


Also, being assigned by the Department of Justice of Zhejiang Province and invited by the People’s Government of Jiangshan City, Ms. Guo, as the member of the legal advisory panel, has provided legal information of relevant laws and regulations to the working group of the People’s Government of Jiangshan City, the families of the victims died from the Asiana Airline crash and the students of the Jiangshan Secondary School in respect of legal rights protection, and held legal seminars to seek for the best solutions for rights protection and compensations.
